Joe Mauer winning the AL Gold Glove award for catchers. Doesn’t get much better behind the plate. Was surprised to NOT see Torii Hunter’s name included in the group. It’s been awhile since that happened.
Thumbs Down:
Yep, it’s probably going to happen. Ho hum…just another lefthanded ace to shut us down when we see them again in the 2011 ALDS.

Mauer is definitely the cream of the A L catching crop. Combine that with his hitting finesse and you got a guy coveted by 29 other teams.
Still think the Cliff Lee fiasco is far from in the Yankees mitts.
With the FSN-Texas around $60-80 million coming to Arlington, Texas in 2011, the Rangers might have the last say on where Lee puts his boots in 2011.
Would be a huge insult to the Yankee fans if Brian Cashman did all that traveling and booty-kissing and still lost out to Nolan Ryan just opening the door and leaving it open for a Lee return.
